REVIEW: SANCTUARY BRIGHTENING FACIAL

These little samples of Sanctuary Brightening Facial products came as part of a Christmas gift that I hadn't even opened properly as there was still some wrapping paper attached to the box (I'm hanging my head in shame - sorry Rach! Although there are some products missing if that helps?) so I've used them this past weekend and decided they deserve a review at least.

SANCTUARY BRIGHTENING FACIAL RADIANCE EXFOLIATOR
This product boasts the ability to refine and even the skin tone for a "lasting glow". The product is a dirty orange colour that contains bead-like grains that exfoliate skin. It smells really strange - almost smoky (if that makes sense?). I'm not a massive fan of it to be honest but it's OK.

SANCTUARY BRIGHTENING FACIAL BRIGHTENING EYE GEL
I usually use my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Gel samples (very sparingly) but I swapped them for this. I didn't notice much of a brightening of the eye area but they did look less puffy than usual which is a positive. It absorbed into my skin with relative ease but did leave my eyelids looking slightly shiny. It doesn't have a determinable scent but I suppose eye products shouldn't have any. As usual my clumsiness meant that I got some in my eye (I should really become a human testing specimen for cosmetics I do that much to myself) and it didn't sting so it's very gentle (but please don't try that at home ladies).

SANCTUARY BRIGHTENING FACIAL ILLUMINATING MOISTURE LOTION SPF15
White in colour, light in weight and fruity scented this is actually the saving grace of these samples. I really really like it. I'm not sure that the 'illuminating' claims completely run true but my skin did feel like it had an instant moisture boost. It felt really hydrated and strangely plumped. I've never seen anything absorb that quickly either. I will be buying this product in full size for sure.

There is a similar set to the one I received here called Sanctuary Skin Brightening Facial In A Box at Boots that is retailing for £16.34 which looks like a step-by-step guide for a facial at a fraction of a salon price.

Have you tried any of the Sanctuary Brightening Facial products?
What do you think of them?
