Another gorgeous gift from Islay, this is the Wet'n'Wild eye shadow palette in 'Walking On Eggshells' - a trio of flattering and neutral shades.

I wasn't a massive eye shadow wearer before this trio entered my life. I could never get my colours quite right and, to be honest, I was too idle to mess about with another beauty product in my already convoluted routine. I like eye shadow - hell, I'm always drooling over the newest palettes, have a MAC wishlist of 8 shades I think would be perfect for me and own the tools to blend myself into oblivion. I just couldn't be bothered. When Islay presented me with this little palette I was thrilled - I love neutral shades like these - but I guessed I wouldn't get much use out of it. Wrong. I've been using it every single day since I opened it to swatch it.

The packaging is simple and, for the price, that's to be expected. I like that it comes with two applicators - the obligatory (useless - in my opinion) sponge and a small angled blending brush (which I like a lot and use regularly now). The pans are nicely sized and I love how the various eye areas are stamped onto the powders - it makes it really simple to know what the look is supposed to be. The only one I deviate from using properly is the 'Brow Bone' as I use this as an inner corner highlight and leave my brow bone well alone.

The shadows are really pigmented and apply beautifully. Having a finely milled, creamy texture they can be packed on for high impact or can be blended into a subtle look.

They all compliment each other perfectly and really make my blue eyes stand out. Their longevity is excellent with or without a primer - although I always use primer these days (review of my favourite coming soon). My only bug bear is the fall out - there's a small amount from both the pan and the application. For the price though these are excellent quality and I won't know what to do with myself when they hit pan.

Wet'n'Wild Eye Shadow Palette in 'Walking On Eggshells' is not currently available in the UK as far as I'm aware (if you know a stockist then leave a comment below to let everyone know) but I have found a budget site that sells some Wet'n'Wild make up called Cosmetics Fairy (prices are as low as 99p).
