VIVO COLOUR BLOCK EYE PALETTE IN 'DREAMY' £1.99* (RRP - £3.99)
Firstly I want to say just how blown away I am by this palette. I've never tried anything by Vivo Cosmetics before and as an introduction to the brand this palette is superb. I'm already chomping at the bit to get my hands on other bits and pieces by them.

Whilst the packaging is not the most glamorous, just black and silver with a flip lid top and basic information on the back, it's definitely sturdy and can resist some bashing about (several of these made their way to the #julylondonmeetup and they all survived a road-rage van ride with shattering or damaging). For the price of Vivo Cosmetics (in line with MUA Cosmetics prices) the packaging isn't really the main focus of the review. It stands to reason the packaging isn't going to be the most chic when you're paying very little.

What's important is the quality of the product and, seriously now, this is one of the best neutral palettes for the price range - if not the best I've come across for a while.

Each reasonably large square of product houses a pan of beautifully pigmented pearl, shimmer and matte shades in a range of wearable neutral colours - from a deep black to a dazzling coppers and golds. I personally found that the only shade that wasn't brilliant was a matte shade called 'Sand', a cream shade that didn't swatch particularly well and appears to have a lot of fall out. That being said, don't let my observations detract from the overall review. I always keep in mind that matte shades are well known for being extremely difficult to produce on a budget and therefore the inclusion of two other mattes in this palette that are pretty fabulous actually makes me want to give a round of applause to Vivo. One out of twelve? I can happily live with that.

Easy to build powder with a creamy feel, blendable, little-to-no fall out and simply gorgeous - the first impression I got from this palette was 'Hello Urban Decay Dupes'. The quality is all there and, with a good eye primer, so is the longevity of wear.

My favourite of all the colours has to be 'Neutral', 'Dreamy' and 'Night' - I had a feeling that that trio would make a stunning copper smokey eye and I wasn't wrong. I have a post coming up soon on the looks I've created with this palette so keep an eye open for that.

Would I recommend this product? Erm, is the Pope Catholic? The value for money is incredible for the quality of this palette. Even if you're an eye-shadow snob these will impress. If they're not for you, they'd make a brilliant and budget buy for a teen that wants to get into makeup.

Vivo Cosmetics Colour Block Eye Palette in 'Dreamy' RRP £3.99 (currently on sale online for £1.99) is available exclusively from Tesco stores across the UK and the Vivo website (everything is currently half price with free shipping - free shipping is with a minimum spend of £20). 5. Wow this palette looks amazing this is something that I would love as I only wear neutral eyeshadows. The pigmentation is great considering how cheap it is. x
