REVIEW: LOOK BEAUTY LIP SMOOTHIE

I've been using normal granulated sugar to exfoliate my lips ever since my Lip Scrub from LUSH went walkabout. I've had my eye out for a new product like this Look Beauty Lip Smoothie though - sometimes I just want to really feel like I'm pampering myself and not just getting another use out of what I usually just reserve for hot drinks and baking.

The packaging is really cute and girly but simple. Pink and black is always a great combination. Application is in the form of a squeezy tube style applicator which makes it really easy to put straight onto the lips; it's less messy than digging my finger into a tub ad a lot more hygienic. I carry this in my hand bag too sometimes - just for on the go when I feel like I can't reapply my lipstick without buffing the canvas first. I put it straight onto dry lips and gently rub the slightly sticky, granular 'smoothie' across where I feel like I need to get rid of any dry bits/skin before wiping away any bits with a towel or tissue. The grains of sugar in the 'smoothie' don't scratch as they're not overly big. I think Look got the formula for this scrub just right.

The fresh minty scent and flavour make this product lovely to use too. It also leaves a slight tingle after use which is supposed to make my lips a little plumper. I haven't noticed any plumping action but then to be honest I haven't really being paying all that much attention to whether my lips look bigger or not.

I do really like this product - I think it's a lovely little addition to any stash and as it's currently on offer for half price on the Look Beauty website it's definitely worth getting hold of. 

Would I recommend it? Yes. For the price it's such a bargain and I really think it's worth snapping up if you like to wear a lot of lip products like I do. I'm sure this is a product everyone could find a use for.
