I received this lipstick as part of my little welcome package that welcomed me at Access All ASOS (click the badge at the top of my sidebar for more information about this). Nobody was as shocked as me when the postman handed me the little box that the ASOS team sent. If I’m completely honest I thought I’d ordered something whilst drunk the weekend before (I didn’t get my welcome email before I got my parcel). Inside was the cutest pair of earrings that I’m waiting to team with the perfect outfit as well as this Rimmel Lipstick. Kudos to the ASOS girls that personalised each box with a little note – that must have taken some effort for all of us and I, for one, really appreciate it.

Now, I love me a lipstick and I love me some Rimmel so this was possibly the perfect product for me. The lipstick is from the Lasting Finish line, comes in black packaging and is really easy to throw in your handbag for on-the-go without breaking. The formula is very creamy and doesn’t drag on the lips. The pigment is good and the colour is opaque in one swipe. The durability of the lipstick is fairly good - it lasts for 3-4 hours without requiring a top-up depending on whether you're eating or drinking. It’s easy to pat into the lips or simply swipe across.  It’s a slightly frosted peachy-pink that’s really easy to pull off (does anyone feel like frost can look old-ladyish sometimes?) because of the subtly of the shimmer. It’s a pretty, feminine every day shade that I’ve been loving when I want something a little brighter than the usual fall berries and plums. I can see myself wearing this a lot come spring and summer.

Thank you to ASOS – this is now I firm favourite in my lipstick stash.
