The Elemis Freshskin range is the brand's premier range for younger skin and suits all skin types too. Sound perfect? I think so.

Having already been introduced to Elemis with some products I was lucky enough to win on Twitter I already know that I trust and love the brand immensely. However, the products I've tried out and adored previously have all been aimed at more mature skin than mine. Being mid-twenties now (cue slight meltdown from me - come October I will no longer be able to tick the 18-24 age range box on surveys) I have been slightly confused about my skincare. Do I start using products aimed at more mature skin like I have been doing? Or do I stick with the fun and 'young' products aimed at youthful skin that no longer really do anything for me? Conflicting advice doesn't help. However, the Elemis Freshskin range is aimed at all skin types from teens to before the early thirties age range. WIN.

The packaging is really feminine - the pink really brightens up my bathroom cabinet. It also stops Dave thinking he can 'borrow' my products when he has an urge to groom because he wouldn't be caught dead using anything pink (after an amusing incident on holiday where he went for a pink product and emerged from the bathroom smelling like a raspberry. Manly.).

I love that this product has a pump - it's both hygienic and cost effective. It stops me from using too much product and keeps bacteria from infiltrating the cleanser. The pump allows for the release of the perfect amount of clear cleanser - enough to do my whole face properly.

The scent is refreshing, especially when used first thing in the morning, providing the perfect 'wake me up' with a crisp (but not overwhelming) scent that reminds me of a mixture of peach and citrus. It also cuts through makeup brilliantly when used in the evening. Those stubborn panda eyes from when you've used an eye makeup remover on your waterproof mascara first? Gone. Stubborn brow gel that won't budge? Gone. Matte lipstick stains that you previously had to scrub at? ...You get the idea now.

This product does lather up somewhat - we're not talking a face of bubbles - but a small amount. This was something I was dubious about but I had no need to worry. My skin felt cleansed but not tight, and soft but not stripped. It genuinely is a pleasure to use.

The improvement in my skin is obvious: it looks clearer and clearer with each passing day I use the Elemis Freshskin Peachy Perfect Gentle Face Wash as part of my skincare ritual.

Now, it's the price that I genuinely love. I've been watching the pennies like a hawk recently and this product is only £12.00. TWELVE POUNDS. I almost couldn't believe it when I saw it. Elemis is a brand that screams luxury and because of this most of us automatically equate luxury with expensive price tags. The prices for the Freshskin range are really affordable and compete with the drugstore ranges. Forget Soap and Glory - I'm now heading for Elemis Freshskin every time.

Would I recommend it? YES. In fact, I have recommended it to several of my friends already and even decanted a little for one of them to try out. She now loves it too.
