I've always struggled with my brows - they've been too straight or too thin or too bushy. You get the idea: I've never been truly happy with them. I'd given up on them to be honest.

I spotted that Look Beauty were having an online half price sale and decided to take a look. Having seen a few reviews of the Brow Perfect kit I ordered it. The selling point for me was the brow stencils. I was hoping that with the help of a stencil I might be able to get the shape to my brows that I wanted.

The kit comes in sleek plastic black packaging with 7 pans of powder is various shades, a double ended brush, a small set of tweezers, four different stencils for perfecting your brows and a fixing gel.

I used the stencils to see which shape would suit my face best and as it turns out my brows were almost completely identical to the shape of the New York stencil anyway - they just needed tidying up. I used the tweezers to remove any stray hairs that I could see and some stragglers at the ends of my brow. They look better straight away but the stencil was a really good guide and fool-proof way of getting the exact shape I wanted.

I filled in my brows using the double ended little brush that came with the set. It was easy to work with and using little strokes gave a really nice natural affect. I used the fixing gel on top.

I do like this little kit and I'm glad I bought it. It's very much a 'one-kit-fits-all' and the shades that I don't want to use on my brows I think will translate to neutral eyeshadows quite well with the lightest 'blonde shade' making a good highlight. The fixing gel is very strong and it's something I would definitely purchase if it was a product on it's own as I can see that running out before the pans of powder do.

Its a good kit, would be great for travelling with too, and I would recommend it if you want a product that will beat your brows into submission. I really like it and I can see it will be much loved part of my daily routine in the future.
