I went shopping yesterday with the specific purpose of getting some items that I can wear to job interviews. Be proud of me - I didn't buy any jeans (my usual whenever I buy clothes) and although I strayed into Superdrug, and swatched almost every lip stick I could see, I didn't buy any makeup either. I don't own any skirts that fit me properly anymore and/or look smart. I think midi is the perfect length for me. I feel comfortable in them and they hide a multitude of sins. I bought the same skirt in Navy blue too, although when I have some more money I'll be going back for all of the other colours because these are such a great price but also so comfortable to wear. Look out for a few more OOTDs coming up soon.
I stayed monochrome with a lot of the clothes I picked up (there will be a few more . I think monochrome just looks really smart and it also translates across the seasons really well. Well, when is black and white ever not in fashion? The shoes were a bit of an impulse purchase to be honest. At that price, I couldn't resist - finding shoes is so hard as I'm a size 9 and wide. Sole desire shoes from Primark always seem to last me quite a while and they're comfortable too. I have loads of black shoes so I thought tan would make a nice change. The jacket was a brilliant buy - it was reduced from £14.00 to £5.00 which is just a complete steal in my opinion. I love the military trends. I've been after a great little jacket to take me into the beginning of autumn and I think this is perfect. I'll get a helluva lot of wear out of it too because it can used as smart or casual.
I really love this look, the skirt looks amazing :)
