REVIEW: LOOK BEAUTY POUT BUTTER IN 'PERFECTING PEACH' AND 'PRETTIFYING PINK'

Anything with a bit of tint is perfect for those days when you want to focus on your eye makeup or simply look natural. Look Beauty Pout Butters* (RRP £3.00 - currently on offer for £1.50) are the perfect budget buy for this need.
Anything lip related draws me like a moth to the flame - lipsticks, balms, glosses... You get the picture. Look Beauty are a brand I'm falling in love with very fast. Their products are always great quality and affordable. These pout butters are no exception.  In perfect travel-size screw-top pots the packaging is sturdy and easy to simply throw in your handbag for on the go. The cute lips on the top of the lid show the colour of the butter and as I carry these two everywhere it's easy for me to distinguish which one is which when faffing about for them in my bag.  The texture of these is definitely buttery - they glide on easily as they're really soft and don't drag the lips. I'd say that the texture is comparable to the Korres Lip Butters. They sink into the lips very quickly and leave them feeling moisturized for a long time.
My mouth doesn't have any of those nasty chaps or cracks from the cold at the moment thankfully but I can see these being really caring during the approaching autumn and winter. They smell candy sweet - I can't put my finger on the scent exactly - but it's pleasant and makes me want to eat the pot. The colours are really subtle. Unless I apply 'Prettifying Pink' in a scoop at one time it doesn't show up on me at all but I put that down to having a dark natural lip colour. Perhaps on a pout less dark than mine it'd show better. 'Perfecting Peach' lightens my lips a little and looks great with a neutral eye. They both give loads of shine to the lips which means I can skip the gloss completely. They also look great over lipsticks of similar colours for a more glossy finish. I'd personally like to see some darker shades in these - a red and a plum would be fabulous for autumn and winter - as these are the only two available at at the moment. I like to use these products after I've exfoliated my lips with the Look Beauty Lip Smoothie - they feel really nourishing.
