REVIEW: MAC LUSTRE LIPSTICK IN 'PLUMFUL'

My third MAC lipstick came in the form of a birthday gift that I adore. A massive thank you to Islay for this beautiful gift - it genuinely is appreciated.


Plumful is a slightly blue toned pink-plum colour with a lustre finish. Lustres are the less pigmented, arguably more wearable branch of the MAC lipstick family. They're glossy, hydrating, smooth and flattering on the lip without drawing attention to dry patches or imperfections. I personally find it easy to wear for almost any occasion and whilst durability is reduced in comparison to a cremesheen or matte formula. The usual MAC vanilla scent is there as well as the black bullet-like packaging. 


It's the perfect autumn and winter shade that will no doubt carry on through to spring too. It gives a hint of berry without being over the top.


I've been wearing this lipstick practically none stop since I received it and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for your next MAC Lipstick purchase then put this one on your list.

    I have Rimmel colour that's exactly like this called Starry Eyed, I love it (: Unfortunately it's discontinued, so when it's all done I may have to save my pennies and pick up this one ;3 xx
